After the fact, it wasn't that bad. I was just winded at every switchback (there were 12 of them). It took me an hour, exactly, to hike up to the Y. It took 25-30 minutes for others. I'm in bad shape! It took 20 minutes to hike down. Surprisingly I'm not sore at all today. Now I can cross off this event from my list of "things I will only do once".
That's where we are heading. All the way to the "Y".
Some of our young women and Alex.
VICTORY!! I'm sitting on the "Y" exhausted but happy that I had it in me to hike it all the way up.

That last picture is breathtaking. You should submit it to KSL! I love it.
And congratulations on making it! I don't think I could! Bill and I are both really out of shape too. He rode his bike to the train station yesterday before work and it about killed him! But I can't believe you aren't sore...Maybe tomorrow.
I loved the pictures, and I'm sure they all LOVED having you along! You are somuch fun. Oh, and is Alex a babe magnet or what?:)
Hmm. Hiking to the "Y" is still on my list of things I can't believe I never did when I was at the "Y" and will never do.
Love the last picture--gorgeous with the clouds breaking through.
I can't wait to use my new camera on Maui. I thinking I'm getting more lenses and equipment for my birthday. Let's hope!
I never hiked the Y either, and it's not like we weren't there for a thousand years. Strangely, I never even wanted to. Still don't.
Maybe you should start a support group. Wait, you can't be in it anymore.
Congratulations on your accomplishment! Love the pictures!
Yeah, that last picture looks like the "revelation" pictures you always see. Must be symbolic. BYU...Revelation...Can you tell we're still cougars at heart?
Congratulations on finishing the trail!
