House Remodel - July 17, 2012

The house remodel continued while we were gone a week in Alaska. We couldn't be happier with the results. Take a look.

Board and Batten in the living room

From the living room into the kitchen

Board and Batten shelf detail. So pretty.

Our new fireplace is in. Stainless steel surround. Only tile is now missing, and a bit of granite.

Kitchen built-in on the north wall by the sliding door. The upper cabinets are missing.

New kitchen. Uppers are missing because they had to fix the screwy ceiling.

Island. And plenty of room for my cookbooks.

West wall where pantry used to be, now there is room for a pantry, a fridge and a double oven.

Windows are ready for plantation shutters that I ordered today.

The other master walk-in closet for shoes and accessories.

Yes, I think there will be enough room for our shoes.

Master bathroom floor is finished.

Master bathroom cabinet. A tower in the middle is missing.

We had to order new tile because the blue tile came in two different colors. They have to replace it.

Entry way. So pretty. Can't wait to see it painted and finished.

Rod made his Karaoke debut during the cruise singing "Sweet Caroline". Take a listen.

Zija Alaska Cruise - Going Home

The ship docked into Seattle Cruise Terminal on Sunday morning and we got off the ship and took a limo ride to the airport and flew home. It was so nice to get home although we had a fabulous time in Alaska. We visited with so many wonderful people and truly love all of them. We wish them all the success in their Zija businesses.

Zija Alaska Cruise - Victoria

We arrived into Victoria, B.C. at 7pm on Saturday night. We hopped on the bus in the harbor and just walked around Victoria eating ice cream and drinking hot chocolate. It was a chilly and windy evening.
