The morning was glorious and sunny when we woke up at the Risonare Resort. We looked out the hotel window and saw Mt. Fuji in the distance. Fabulous view! Because it was so early, we went to explore the foothills of Yatsugatake and took about a 2 mile walk through the friendly neighborhood.
The beautiful Luncheon room that we would have lunch tomorrow.

Breakfast. The little dish in the front with the little mustard square is called Natto. It is fermented soybeans. It was horrible smelling but tasted pretty good.
We had all of Thursday afternoon for ourselves until the Zija leaders started arriving towards the end of the evening. We had a lovely dinner with all of them.
