House Remodel - May 15, 2012

May 15th. 7 days after the demolition started.

The window guys discovered a huge hole on the south side wall, so they had to patch it with particle board.
Siding is gone from the south side of the house.

New exterior wall is constructed.

This will look so nice when it has Board and Batten on it.

That is our master bathroom window.

The French doors were removed and that space was framed over.

The beams were installed and the living room/kitchen is an open space.

Wade is starting to frame the fireplace.

A view from the kitchen into the living room.  The new beam is installed.

Kitchen floor is opened.

The pantry area and the back kitchen door.

From master bedroom down the hall into Alex's bedroom.

Master bathroom. We made all the interior walls half walls.

Vanity wall in the master bedroom.

The window in Rod's walk-in closet is now framed closed.

Guest bedroom which will be an office now.

Not sure where this is. Possibly Alex's bathroom floor.

Alex's bathroom. The ceiling will be brought down from a pitched roof line.
