Zija Alaska Cruise - Day 3 Ketchikan

As we were slipping into Ketchikan on the morning of the 3rd day, the scenery was breathtaking.

Breathtaking. Yes!

Ken on the phone outside the Christmas Store.

"Trust the Gordon's Fisherman"

Beautiful Ketchikan.

This little lady was blowing bubbles out the window as we were walking by. Everyone should take time from their busy lives to blow bubbles.

Creek Street or the street where the hookers conducted their business back in the day.

Dolly, the wanna-be or has-been hooker greeted us with a raspy voice that we hadn't heard before. Dolly's house was established for business the year of my dad's birth, 1919.

We took the funicular up to the mountain and we had a moment alone with the pole. I won't be switching my job any time soon.

Beautiful mountain top.

Going back to the boat to eat...wait...we just ate in town...doesn't matter....there is food on the boat that needs to be eaten.

So long Ketchikan. I'm glad I didn't grow up here.

Our beautiful ship from behind.
