Weekend Education

These are the things I learned this past weekend:

1) People eat double-toasted toast. I didn't know such a thing existed.

2) Navajo nation has their own president. First of all, I didn't know there was a Navajo nation. Second of all, I didn't know there was a president. His name is Dr. Joe Shirley, Jr. I now know that we will be driving through the Navajo nation on the way to New Mexico.

3) There is a great view from our roof toward the Timpanogos Mountain.

4) I really like 100 Grand chocolate bar.

5) When you have enough energy, you can make a costume for YW in Excellence in 1/2 hour. Sew like the wind, woman!

6) There is a whistling language in Kuskoy, Turkey.

7) I have lost 7 lbs since I started my new medication (3 weeks). YAY for me!

I knew about the Navajo nation. I lived near their reservation for five long years in a very ugly desolate town called Holbrook. Makes Rock Springs look like the Garden of Eden. There are some place near Ground Zero in Nevada that look similar, but without the drunks passed out on the side of the road, it just doesn't hold up.

What pill are you on? Is it legal in the US? Can I get it?

If you read my earlier post about my dr. visit in October, then you already know that I'm on thyroid medicine that will help my T3 levels=I'm not cold anymore and I'm able to lose weight. Big YAY for both.

It's even better if you can eat 100 Grand candy bars and still lose weight! YAY for you!

And I am very impressed that you made a costume in half an hour. Way to go. It would take me half an hour to get out my sewing machine. :)
