Eternal Friendships

This morning was a sad day for us because the Sohkanen family left to go home back to Finland. We have so enjoyed having them at our house these past two weeks. They are such great people and friends. I believe we made eternal friendships with all of them.

What a gorgeous family! Thank goodness technology makes it easier to keep in touch. Although, not a good substitute for an actual in person visit, it works, till we get the "Beam me up, Scotty" stuff working.

So, does this mean your Christmas Holiday is officially over? Monday seemed to be my official ending. Kids back at school, house Christmas lights are turned off for another year...But, on to a new and exciting year, eh?

Wow, I just read about Sini-Tuulia in the BYU magazine! They are following her freshman year. That's so cool! I did read that she is quite the baker...I envisioned pulla for christmas and lots of karjalan piirakoita! I'm glad that it was such a wonderful visit. You all sure had a lot of fun!
