Alex is a Star
Court of Honor was held last night. Alex received his Cooking merit badge and advanced in his rank to Star. Next rank advancement is Life and then Eagle. His drivers license is depended on receiving his Eagle Scout.

Good job to Alex and congratulations to you, the mom. We have that whole eagle=drivers license thing, too. Ben got his Life when he was 13 and still has it ... he is 16 ... all he needs is his project ... I am sure Alex won't let it go that long.
Congratulations, Alex! Congratulations, Marja for the encouragement. I just finished a great book I think you would like reading. "Left to Tell" and I don't have the book in front of me to tell you the Author but the first name is Immaculee (or really close to that). It is a relatively new book. If you have already read it, tell me what you thought.
Good job, Alex! That's awesome. And I may just have to steal your idea someday and tell Hayden his driver's license depends on it. And I'll tell my girls they have to earn their young womanhood medallion. Maybe I should tell them that they have to graduate from college first hehehehe.
