I took Alex and Elle to the Hale Center Theater last night to watch the latest play called "The Hasty Heart". We got there early, so they both got to see all the people who were coming in to see the play. Of course this is not their first time at the Hale, but for some reason they started question the age of the audience. Alex was very poignant at his realization that the rest of the audience was, in fact, older than him by about 60 years. Yep, a lot of gray haired ladies and gents (not me).
The play was interesting, and I definitely needed some serious subtitles because one of the main characters was a Scot.
Next up: Aida

Your kid cracks me up! But I am so impressed that you are raising a well-rounded kid who will go to plays! Bravo, Marja, Bravo!!! (Even if he is kinda poking fun at everyone in the audience. He wouldn't be a normal teenager if he didn't!)
Alex cracks me up! Him and Carsen don't miss a thing. Love those boys. We should have a ladies night to a play sometime in the future! Ü
We love the Hale Theatre. Two summers ago all the girls in the family went to see "Little Women" and my daughters and my sister's daughters mocked up because we cried when Beth died. But, hey, that is REALLY sad!
Alex is such a man of all seasons. If you aren't having fun with that yet, just you wait! Once the girls pick up on that, it's all downhill.
