May 31. After we got back from Japan, we found the remodel in a great stage.
All floors were replaced. Our floors used to squeak so no more squeaky floors.
The whole house was re-wired.
The plumbing is finished until fixtures are brought in.

Kitchen/Living room floors are completely replaced.

The fireplace is framed with columns now

North side kitchen wall is fixed where the wood-burning stove used to be.

Kitchen is ready for sheetrock

Master bedroom.

Master bedroom ceiling and walls on the north side.

This wall was moved about a foot towards my walk-in closet.  This wall will have a built-in entertainment/bookcase/cabinet system.

Master bedroom with new plumbing and tub. All half walls so the bathroom is totally open now.

Master bathroom vanity area. The plumbing was moved into the floors instead of being in the walls where the water sometimes froze in the middle of the winter.

House Remodel - May 15, 2012

May 15th. 7 days after the demolition started.

The window guys discovered a huge hole on the south side wall, so they had to patch it with particle board.
Siding is gone from the south side of the house.

New exterior wall is constructed.

This will look so nice when it has Board and Batten on it.

That is our master bathroom window.

The French doors were removed and that space was framed over.

The beams were installed and the living room/kitchen is an open space.
