7am this morning the hammering, the sawing, and the pounding started. I was at work by 8:15am. Doesn't happen very often. I just wanted out of my house as fast as possible. I'm sure the neighbors appreciated the noise at 7am. Please, don't hate us too much. I think I will have to bake some cookies for the neighbors to keep the neighborly peace.
11am when I took some McDonalds over to the guys to keep them going, there were a ton of guys on the roof doing the same thing as 7am.
I won't return to the house until late tonight. Hopefully everything will be nice and quiet.

I know what you, Rod and Alex are going through... I have been there...I don't know if this comment serves you as a consolation, but trust me, it's good to know that all the noise and dust will only be there for a week ... I have had Men at Work in home for months!
