If I were a novelist

My pen name would be Ajram Neslar.

With that kind of name I could be a mysterious woman from the middle east, maybe Iran, who fled the oppression to London in the 70s, married to an Irish pub owner whose actual name is O'Neslar but I had to drop the "O" because it is so dreadfully unnecessary.

But you smart people who read my blog cracked my name code already, huh? I would have to come up with another name, as mysterious...how about Ramja Lasner...same kind of tone and flavor as the first one, except this time the birth place would have to be Egypt, and I would be married to an English Professor with Austrian roots from Oxford.

Jara Eslarn could be another good one. A girl from a small cottage by a lake in the Swedish countryside who used to sit in the grass at sunset in the summer, dreaming about one day making out to the real world. My given name was actually Jaram, but it doesn't sound good to my young and rebellious ear.

My pen name could be Inafit Ants.

But you are the gifted story teller, so I will let you invent the story for that one :).

Sorry to post before you, Kristine, I just stopped by for a dose of humor. I got it, I'm good now.

Thanks for the apology, Tif.

Marj, I would read your novels. Maybe you could write a story about a young girl who wakes up without her pants on a ship?

My pen name would be Elizabeth Bennett and I would write romance novels of the Harlequin variety.

I could pass as a Liyrah Stonelecc, don't you think? I would have a very sexy first name. I may have nothing interesting to write about but maybe the name would be luring!

I could be the next "Homer" and write the next "Odyssey" - only with a lot more juice and a lot less bore!!!

I think, Kristine, you missed the boat here, in your sleep-deprived state. Your pen name has to made up using letters of YOUR REAL NAME. I could also be Nats Inafit. I think I like that better.
