MV - Timpanogos Basketball Game 1/21/11

MV beat Timpanogos 51-39 with Alex playing about 5 minutes and not scoring any points but he played really well.

After the Sophomore game we went to dinner, and took Jake with us. Alex wanted sushi and Jake wasn't sure about that.

Jake eating his salad with chopsticks. Notice the chopstick "helpers". Live and learn, Jake.

Pizza Night

We had a home made pizza night on Tuesday night. If you don't know this about me but I love seafood pizza. I can never find anything like that here in the U.S if I don't make it myself. So, I made a clam-shrimp-oyster-tuna pizza just for myself. It was delicious. Believe me.

MV - Westlake Basketball Game 1/14/11

We won, but forgot to write the final score down. Alex played almost the whole 4th quarter.

Beautiful Day for Skiing

Rod's second pair of new skis arrived yesterday by UPS. During his first day of skiing this year on Christmas Day he busted a binding on one of his skis and "had" to buy a new pair of skis that day. But he loved his old skis so much that he looked for them on eBay and found a pair, which arrived yesterday.

This morning Rod went to try them out to see if he likes them.

Text message received from him when he was on the slopes in Sundance:

"Frickin awesom buy on these sticks...great hi speed first run. Yummy".

Rod's on the other side of this mountain skiing and happy as a clam.

Last Night at the Hale Center Theater

We saw the "Foreigner". This is one of Alex's favorite plays which we saw for the first time at the Pioneer Theater Company in SLC a few years back. Luckily it is now showing at the Hale Center. We laughed and laughed, which is always good for the soul.

Highly recommend it if you ever come across this play.

Don't miss the Finnish flag on the suitcase...

MV - Payson Basketball Game 1/5/11

School started again and so did the basketball games. This time we played Payson and we beat them 47-34. Alex played about 6 minutes but couldn't score.

When we walked out of the game, this was the color of the mountains at sunset. GORGEOUS!
